The histologic pattern of subepidermal blisters with neutrophils can be seen in many inflammatory conditions including bullous lupus erythematosus, dermatitis herpetiformis, linear IgA, bullous pemphigoid, chronic dermatosis of childhood, Sweet syndrome, epidermolysis bullosa acquisita (rarely). Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) will present histologically with a subcorneal pustule.
